Beginning March 21st, all docks, boat storage facilities, parking lots, launch ramps, and other harbor properties will be closed to the public through April 7 in accordance with Governor Pritzker’s “stay-at-home” order and the resulting Chicago Park District closures.
The COLORS Regatta, sponsored by Skyway Yacht Works, is Columbia Yacht Club's One-Level Offshore Racing Series and has been Chicago’s shake-the-sheets event on Lake Michigan since 1995! More than 100 boats race annually during the first weekend of June and the strong one-design presence of the Beneteau, J/Boat, Tartan-10 and other large fleets designates the event as a tune-up for the season.
The 7th Annual Skyway Yacht Works Dash to the Dock Regatta is set for Saturday, May 9! This is the annual start of the season and an event aimed at getting people out of the yard and into the harbor. This year’s event features breakfast at 8am and an 11am harbor start from the yard.

CASRA (Chicago Area Sail Racing Association) has announced its 2020 Race Schedule. CASRA is an organization comprised of a group of five Chicago-area yacht clubs – Burnham Park Yacht Club, Chicago Yacht Club, Chicago Corinthian Yacht Club, Columbia Yacht Club, and Jackson Park Yacht Club. CASRA coordinates sail racing activities of its member clubs and promotes the growth of sailboat racing in the Chicagoland area.
