When we first opened our doors in 2004, five customers were enrolled and one was a Hobie Cat. It was a little bleak and I was not quitting my day job.
The next year we had a 400% increase in customers — or 43 customers in 2005. Six years later, we decided we should really start doing something that would reward our loyal customers. So Club 43 was born and we gave $43 coupons to our customers of five years or more.
That has morphed into many benefits ranging from the bottom of the bilge to the top of the mast.
